The TacMed SMARTAID system prepares high-risk workplaces and organisations to respond to medical emergencies so people can go home to their families safe.

Trained, Equipped, Compliant & Confident.

First Aid is not a box-ticking exercise and it is far more than a simple course and off the shelf first aid kit.

SMART Aid is a complete system which, through our proven process, ensures high-risk businesses and organisations have the procedures, training, and equipment that is customised specifically for the risks and environment clients work in.

Minutes count.

A critically ill or injured person can die in as little as 5 minutes due to massive bleeding, airway obstruction, cardiac arrest or hypothermia in trauma.

The SMARTAID System

This system has been developed to treat the preventable causes of death so more lives can be saved.

Scene Safety and Security

Secure the scene from hazards or threats. If unsafe, consider moving casualty to safety.

Massive Bleeding

Treat any life-threatening bleeding immediately with trauma dressing, tourniquet or wound packing.

Airways

Check patient alertness and assess the airways for obstructions.

Respirations and Resuscitation

Check breathing. If the patient is not breathing normally, commence CPR (30 compressions / 2 breaths). Attach defibrillator (AED) asap. Seal any penetrating chest injuries with a vented chest seal.
